As an educator…

I am a certified Nebraska Educator who has been teaching for over 6 years. I have taught many different subjects and grade ages. From teaching in a regular education school to teaching English online to foreign students, I have explored many aspects of teaching. Over the years I have realized that working one-on-one or in small groups is my favorite way to teach as it gives me the ability to tailor my lessons specifically to the students and their needs.

As someone that went through public school with undiagnosed neurodevelopmental disorders, I am incredibly passionate about giving learners everything they need to grow, learn, and thrive not just as a student, but as a person figuring out how to live in this world.

Outside of teaching…

I have been married to my husband for about 7 years, although we’ve been together for about 12 years! We have a 6 year old son and a 3 year old daughter who are either partners in crime or sworn enemies, it’s always a surprise to us how the duo with choose to interact!

I have a small aquarium that has all live plants! Right now I have a betta, a couple shrimp, and few snails. One of my favorite parts of having the aquarium is being able to reuse water from the tank and give it to my houseplants! I like having an solution for using the water, and the plants love the nutrients!

I am a bit of a hobby collector, so it seems like I have many different types of supplies for crafts around my home, although it may be difficult to figure out all the crafts I do! I have tried working with polymer clay, sewing, painting with acrylics, heat pressing vinyl on shirts, making greeting cards, the list goes on and on… and will continue to grow!
